ACLS History E-Books: A project of the American Council of Learned Societies, contains a growing collection of over 1200 scholarly titles selected by noted historians. Expanding coverage of nearly all time periods and locations. May be browsed by subject, or for highly specific topics you may wish to search the full text.
Ebrary: our largest collection of ebooks. The default Text and Key Fields search will show you all books containing your terms, with the most relevant titles at the top of the list. If you change the 'search in' field to Subject you can attempt to locate books that deal more specifically with the country assigned.

Oxford Reference Online: Scholarly reference works including A-Z of Countries of the World and A Dictionary of Geography.
Daily Life Online: Essays on numerous aspects of people's daily lives, ancient to modern, in many countries. This database was significantly revised in 8/2010 with much content moved into ABC-CLIO Ebooks.
World Almanac via FirstSearch: Funk & Wagnall's New Encyclopedia and four almanacs, including the World Almanac and Book of Facts.
